If your DVR unit is plugged in to your local network or internet, you can simply log in to the DVR from any other computer to see live video, adjust settings or just playback stored video. If your DVR is at your business location, you can see live picture sitting at home or anywhere else in the world as long as you have internet access.

OVERWRITE

Every computer comes with built in 500+ Gb hard drive. System will use it to store video. Day by day until all available space is used. Than it starts overwriting process. It simply deletes oldest data hour by hour and replaces it with newest data. This way you will always have last few weeks. Whenever you want to save something from being deleted, you just use backup feature.

Video sent to the computer based DVR from each camera could be stored only when DVR detects motion, no more fast forwarding through hours of empty video. Of course if you need some or all of the cameras to record 24/7, you can do it. Each camera has its own settings. It can be set to record on motion, on weekly and daily schedule or just 24/7.

SEARCH AND BACKUP

When you need to playback stored video, you just click on search. You will see calendar with daily diagram for each camera. You can simply tell when each camera recorded something. By clicking on it, you will instantly see the video. You can play it with desired speed, zoom it in, adjust brightness and contrast, you can saved it as AVI file and than play it using Media Player, you can print it out or you can just save images.
